3 Bedroom Cottage in Bushmills, Portballintrae

Set in the seaside village of Portballintrae, our beautiful 3 bedroom cottage is situated close to the world famous Giant's Causeway. Portballintrae beach is 8 minutes by foot, and the Giant's Causeway can be reached by a fantastic beach and cliff walk or by path a distance of approx 3 Km (or you can also travel a short distance by car or use the tourist train ….. The location is a perfect base for an activity holiday with lots of water sports, paddle boarding , canoeing , swimming and boating at the local harbour and beach. Within walking distance we have a super 9 hole golf course at Bushfoot . A Tennis court is also location in the village also a children’s park and lots of water based activities take place at the harbour over the summer months ………
The cottage comfortably sleeps 5 people, has a family bathroom (with bath and separate shower), and a separate ensuite (with shower) in the main bedroom. The kitchen and utility reside on the top floor of the property with views out over the beautiful countryside.
The cottage has permanent high-speed WiFi connection, and is fully centrally heated, with a big fireplace in the living area. The area offers a variety of activities including cycling, walking, surfing, golfing and canoeing. We allow 1 small dog that is house trained, with own bedding …… extra charge for cleaning is normal £20. This can be paid at the end of the visit ….The Bayview hotel is a 5 minute walk away with good food, drinks and live music at weekends. the world famous Bushmills Inn and Distillery are just 1 mile away within the very pretty village of Bushmills. The village is also fast becoming a very select area with lovely craft shops and fantastic local food and entertainment, a real gem in the heart of the North Coast....

Summary: The cottage was impeccably clean and the host was kind enough to meet us at the property to answer questions. Bushmill is a mile up the road and there are great places to eat closeby. The back of the cottage overlooks a pasture with cows and sheep. I recommend staying here.

They met us at the house and helped us get settled. Gave us lots of good information on things in area to see. The area is breathtakingly beautiful! Five stars!

Summary: This is an excellent cottage. Superbly well appointed with everything you would require for self-catering. Beautifully decorated upstairs open plan lounge dining and kitchen area. Separate utility. Downstairs comfortable cosy bedrooms one en-suite and a separate bathroom. Could not have had a more warm welcome with heat and all lights on. Our host, Mrs Campbell was so kind and kept in touch to ensure we had a good holiday. Weather was stormy but we were very cosy. Would highly recommend the host and cottage.

Summary: Had the most wonderful trip to Portballintrae and stayed at Seabreeze. Plenty of walking and things to do and see locally and we packed alot in during the stay. The property is exceptional (all be it an upside down house 😀with the living space upstairs) This awarded a lovely view over the countryside whilst relaxing in an extremely comfortable and well furnished living space. Kitchen well laid out and fully equiped. Cant speak highly enough of this property and the hosts. Thoroughly recommend. ...... hmmmm...... maybe a real fire would create perfection ?

Summary: We had a very enjoyable weekend at the Cottage. The surrounding coastline and countryside is genuinely stunning and it is very close to Bushmills for shops and restaurants. Nora and Donald were great hosts and responded with lightning speed to help iron out a couple of minor hitches. I would highly recommend this well equipped, spotlessly clean and welcoming home. As would our dogs who had a fantastic time and are still recovering from all the exercise they enjoyed.
